In the high-profile Raja Raghuvanshi murder case of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the troubles of the accused are continuously increasing. The Shillong Sessions Court has rejected the bail applications of four accused, including the main accused Raj Kushwah. Meanwhile, the Meghalaya government has approached the High Court against the bail granted to the accused Sonam Raghuvanshi. The case will be heard on May 12. No relief for 4 accused, including Raj Kushwah The Shillong Sessions Court also rejected the second bail application of the main accused and Sonam’s alleged lover, Raj Kushwah. The court refused to grant him relief, considering the seriousness of the case. Apart from Raj, the bail applications of accused Vishal, Anand, and Akash in this case were also rejected by the court. Hearing in HC on Sonam’s bail The bail granted to the accused Sonam Raghuvanshi in the case is now facing a legal challenge. The Meghalaya government has filed a petition in the High Court demanding the cancellation of the bail. The government states that bail should be cancelled, considering a fair investigation and trial of the case. Deputy CM said- No lapse in investigation Regarding the questions being raised on the police investigation, Deputy Chief Minister Preston Tynsong said that the investigating agencies and SIT have made their best efforts. He said that the police are fully capable and well-equipped, and there has been no deficiency in the investigation. He said that decisions regarding bail are made at different levels in courts, but this cannot raise questions about the police investigation.
