This caused the accident and several people died. The court said that the pilot was familiar with the cruise’s activities. Despite this, he safely exited, leaving the passengers to drown. The court said that this is an offense under sections 106 and 110 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023. If an FIR and investigation are not conducted, cruise or boat operators may continue to abandon passengers in the future. This could lead to a recurrence of such incidents.
