If someone comes to your door with chalk or a marker between May 1st and May 30th, don’t just consider it a government process. That number will give your house a ‘unique location’ on the government map. From Friday, the process of house enumeration will begin in Indore, along with the rest of the country and state. This house enumeration process, preceding the census, will continue until May 30th. Within the Indore Municipal Corporation limits, this work will be carried out by creating 3865 blocks across 85 wards in 22 zones. For this, a map of each enumeration block has been prepared. First, it will be matched. Then, this enumeration will be done digitally through a door-to-door survey. Each enumeration block includes an average of 200 houses/dwellings or a population of 700 to 800. In this way, employees will reach approximately 8 lakh houses within the corporation limits.
