MP family burnt alive in Rajasthan crash:Charred remains of 5 brought home in cartons after DNA tests; daughter recalls last wish

Five members of the same family from Sheopur were burnt alive in Alwar, Rajasthan. The driver died during treatment. The accident occurred late Wednesday night on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near pillar 115/300 in Laxmangarh. On Friday, six bodies were brought to Sheopur by ambulance. The last rites will be performed here. Parvati (55), Santosh (35), his wife Shashi (30), daughter Sakshi (9), and Chhotibai (79) died on the spot in the accident. Driver Vinod Mehra succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. All were residents of Chainpura village. After the incident, the Dainik Bhaskar team reached Chainpura and spoke to the family. They said that their mother’s wish became her last journey. DNA test for identification of all bodies The accident was so horrific that the bodies were completely burnt. Only ashes were brought to Sheopur, packed in five cartons. The police barely managed to identify them. DNA tests have been conducted on everyone, the report will come later.
