Cruise capsizes in MP’s Jabalpur; 4 bodies recovered:Over 29 tourists were on board, several missing; incident at Bargi Dam

In Bargi Dam, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a cruise filled with tourists sank on Thursday evening amidst strong winds and a storm. The accident occurred near Khamaria Island. According to initial information, more than 30 people were on board the cruise. Of these, about 15 people swam to safety. Upon receiving information about the incident, Bargi police station personnel reached the spot. An SDRF team has also departed for the rescue operation, and the search for missing persons is ongoing. So far, the recovery of 4 bodies has been confirmed, while information about 4 people being missing has emerged. According to local sources, the cruise lost its balance and sank due to a sudden strong storm.
