Sonam Raghuwanshi gets bail, family involvement suspected:Victim’s kin allege relatives involved in her release, accused’s brother denies any role

The Shillong court has granted bail to the accused Sonam Raghuwanshi, who was released from jail on Tuesday evening, in the Raja Raghuwanshi murder case. Following her release, the victim’s family alleged that Sonam’s relatives were involved in securing her bail. Responding to the allegations, Sonam’s brother Govind Raghuwanshi denied any role in the process. He said he had nothing to do with Sonam and questioned whether his statements would even be believed. Govind added that their father has left Shillong and is on his way to Indore. He explained that a family member was required to be present at the time of Sonam’s release, and he went only after receiving a call on the day bail was granted. He also said the family has been shattered by the case and feels isolated. “I am trying to cope, but it’s becoming difficult. I have nothing to do with anyone, and I am losing patience,” he said. I have no idea about what Sonam did Govind said that even today, government lawyers are handling Sonam’s case. We have not contacted any private lawyer. I received calls from a hundred or two hundred private lawyers. They are saying that we will fight the case for you for free. But I have never taken any interest in involving any private lawyer in this. I have never had any idea about what Sonam did. What happened in the police process, I have never taken any interest in this till today. I am already troubled by business, by family. I am not even able to go out to the market. I feel like I should commit suicide now. I have no interest in meeting Sonam. I want to do business. My business was running very well, but it has shut down. I am worried about that. I have a wife, two children, and I have to look after them too. I am already in loss, drowning in debt. Even today, I stand with Raja’s family Govind said that even today, I stand with Raja’s family, but they keep making allegations against me. If allegations and counter-allegations continue, then it’s not possible for me to stand with them. Govind cried, hugging Raja’s mother After Sonam’s arrest, Govind Raghuwanshi had also reached Raja’s house. He had cried, hugging Raja’s mother, Uma Raghuwanshi. He had said that Sonam had made a mistake, and she should get the death penalty. Raja’s mother and brother had made allegations Raja’s mother, Uma Raghuvanshi, had said on Wednesday that how can she get bail after killing my child. Sonam’s family members have played some game behind the scenes. Raja’s brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, had also alleged that Sonam’s family, especially her brother Govind, fully supports her. If Sonam goes back to jail, Govind might take revenge for this.
