The Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has released a detailed counselling schedule for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in government and private colleges across the state. Online registration for UG courses will begin on May 1, while PG registrations will start on May 2. The registration process will continue until June 30. The entire admission process will be conducted online, and document verification will be mandatory along with registration. Fully online admission process this year According to the official schedule, admissions this year will be conducted entirely online. Students must complete registration within the stipulated timeline and ensure document verification. Candidates who fail to complete verification will be considered ineligible for counselling and may lose their chance for seat allotment. Choice filling to decide college allocation During the admission process, students will be required to select their preferred colleges and courses. Based on this choice filling, merit lists will be prepared and seats will be allotted. Once a seat is allotted, students must pay the prescribed fee within the deadline. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the seat, which will then be offered to the next eligible candidate. Two main rounds plus additional CLC round This year, the admission process will include two main counselling rounds along with an additional College Level Counselling (CLC) round. The CLC round has been introduced to fill seats remaining vacant after the main rounds, ensuring maximum seat utilization and wider admission opportunities for students. The amount will be disbursed in two equal instalments—during the first and final year of the course—to support their education.
