With the aim of strengthening unity and brotherhood within the Muslim community in Bhopal city, the ‘Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen Jalsa’ is underway in the M.I.G. Housing Board Colony located in Kohefiza. A large number of people have arrived at the event carrying the tricolor flag, creating an atmosphere of solidarity at the venue. Meanwhile, some small children were seen in T-shirts printed with the Palestinian flag, on the other side of which was a photo of Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The chief guest of the program, Maulana Dr. Abdul Majeed Hakeem Ilahi, who is a representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader, has also arrived at the venue. With his arrival, the enthusiasm at the event has further increased. Ulema from various schools of thought are present on one stage and are giving the message of strengthening the idea of “only Ummah” by ending mutual differences in society. MP Communist Party Secretary said – It is necessary to stand up for humanity and rights At the Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen Jalsa, Shailendra Shaili, Secretary of the MP Communist Party, demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi return the international honor. He said that the honor, immediately after being conferred, was followed by an attack on Iran, which is a “black mark” on humanity. In such a situation, to protect India’s dignity and moral values, that honor should be returned. Shaili, in his address, mentioned the historical relations between Iran and India, stating that he considers Iran the “land of ancestors” and that both countries have deep cultural and historical ties. He referred to the 1994 United Nations incident when Pakistan wanted to bring a resolution against India, but Iran supported India. He said that this is an important part of history that should not be forgotten. He further stated that standing with Iran is an expression of one’s commitment to humanity, justice, and human values. According to him, it is also a symbol of raising one’s voice against fascism and American imperialism. Shaili, mentioning the issue of Palestine, said that supporting Iran at this time also means showing solidarity with Palestine. At the end of her address, Shelly appealed to the people to unite in support of Iran, so that future generations do not say that we remained silent when injustice and oppression were increasing. She said that it is a historical responsibility to raise a voice for rights and justice and for people around the world to unite and oppose injustice. Other religious leaders, including the Imam of the Shia community, also participated Mufti Dr. Irfan Alam Sahab Qasmi, Ranveer Singh Wazir (State Vice President, Minority Department), Rajkumar Verma (Member, Congress Committee), Maulana Raziul Hasan Sahab, Imam of Fatehgarh Imambara, and Granthi Arijit Singh of Shahjahanabad Gurudwara also participated in the program.
