In the Timarni police station area of Harda district, five bovine animals were stolen from Ganjaleshwar Ashram and tied to the railway track. The incident occurred on Saturday night. All the cattle died after being hit by a train. On Sunday morning, the bodies of the cows were found near the track in Chhidgaon Mail. Timarni police station in-charge Mukesh Gaud said that unknown thieves had tied the cattle to the railway track with rope after stealing them, due to which they came under the train. After the death of the cattle, Bajrang Dal workers have started a protest demanding strict action against the accused. Upon receiving information about the incident, Timarni Police Station TI Mukesh Gaud reached the spot with police force. He informed that the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter. The search for the accused is ongoing.
