In Ujjain, Nana Kheda Stadium in-charge Ramkumar Mishra allegedly misbehaved with shooting coach Viraj Parihar and forcibly pushed him out of the shooting range. A video of the incident has also surfaced. Coach Parihar has filed a written complaint at Nanakheda police station demanding action against Mishra. Complaint alleges abuse and physical assault Viraj Parihar, a resident of Nagjhiri, stated in his complaint that on 22 April, after cleaning work in the shooting range, the lights were still on and the lock was open. He informed Mishra about this via WhatsApp, but received no response. Around 7:20 pm, Mishra arrived at the shooting range and allegedly started abusing him. He then assaulted him with slaps and punches and pushed him out of the range. Parihar further alleged that Mishra threatened him, saying his sons are a TI (police inspector) and a patwari, and that the police cannot do anything against him. See, three pictures Threats to kill, says coach The coach alleged that Mishra also threatened to kill him and his family, saying, “Wherever I see you, I will kill you.” He also claimed that Mishra introduced himself as a former SI and said police cannot act against him. Parihar added that other coaches and players tried to calm the situation after 15–20 minutes, but Mishra did not listen. Earlier incident with loaded weapon alleged Parihar further said that on 19 April, Mishra had entered the shooting range without permission and allegedly pointed the barrel of a loaded pistol towards him in front of players. Previous dispute with badminton coach Parihar also alleged that this was not the first such incident involving Mishra. On Monday, he had a dispute with badminton coach Monika Khlotiya over removing children from the court. The matter was later settled with intervention by sports officer OP Herad. Regular threats to staff and players The coach accused Mishra of frequently threatening staff and players and demanded police protection for himself and his family. Police statement Nanakheda police station in-charge Narendra Yadav said both sides have filed complaints in the matter. Action will be taken after investigation.
