In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a young man was brutally stabbed to death on Sunday in front of his 8-year-old son. The attackers repeatedly stabbed him and chased him on the road. CCTV footage of the victim running to save his life has also surfaced. The incident took place under the Hiranagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as Surendra Sahu, a resident of Jamnagar. He worked at a grocery shop and had come to attend the wedding anniversary of his brother-in-law. The accused had said – Fix the stand, or you will die Local resident Chandrashekhar Patel said that around 6:30 pm, two youths were standing at a crossing when Surendra passed by. The accused allegedly told him to fix his bike stand, warning that otherwise he would be killed. Surendra replied that it was his bike and he could keep it as he wished. This led to an argument, which soon escalated into violence. The accused called more associates to the spot, turning the situation more serious. His brother-in-law Deepak was also present at the scene. In an attempt to save his life, Surendra ran from the spot, but the attackers chased him and continued the assault. He eventually succumbed to his injuries. The accused fled after the attack. Has a 12-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son Family members said Surendra was the youngest of three brothers. He is survived by a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. He had been living in Jamnagar for nearly 20 years and worked in Siyaganj. The family has already suffered another tragedy earlier, as Surendra’s elder brother had died after falling from a roof. Now only the eldest brother remains alive, leaving the family devastated once again. Youth died in hospital Police said the incident took place around 7 pm on Sunday. A police team reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body for post-mortem. The body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem on Monday. 3 adults and 3 minors attacked Police confirmed that six people were involved in the murder, including three adults and three minors. One accused has been taken into custody, while others are still absconding. Several CCTV clips from the area have also been recovered and are being examined.
