For the first time in the state and city, the 17th International Conference is being organised, where approximately 2,000 experts from India and abroad will gather on one platform. This event, scheduled between April 17 and 19, 2026, will be organised under the joint auspices of the Federation of Small Animal Practitioners Association of India (FSAPAI) and the United Small Animal Practitioners Association at Brilliant Convention. In this three-day conference, detailed discussions will be held on serious diseases of pets such as kidney disease, eye disease, complex surgeries, and bone marrow transplants. Speakers from India and abroad will share information on the latest medical techniques and research through case studies. International experts will provide guidance Dr. H.L. Sahu, President of the Organising Committee, informed that Dr. Charles from Australia for General Surgery, Dr. Rui Oliveira from Portugal for Ophthalmology, and Dr. Marcio from Brazil for Nephrology will be specially included in the conference. Vice President Dr. Padam Jain informed that video presentations will be used to explain new techniques, so that participants can gain a better understanding of complex procedures. Hands-on workshops and live training According to Organising Secretary Dr. Narendra Chauhan, during the conference, scientific sessions will be held along with hands-on workshops, interactive seminars, and case discussions. Participants will also get an opportunity for practical training, where they will experience live surgeries and other procedures. Experts from various countries, including America, Brazil, and Europe, will participate in the program, who will share their experiences on topics such as surgery, medicine, imaging, and animal welfare.
