Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins has fully recovered from his back injury. A recent scan report in Sydney, Australia has confirmed the healing of his back injury. He will now join the team in IPL soon. It is expected that he can play in the match against Rajasthan on April 25 in Jaipur. Cummins, while responding to a family holiday post on Instagram, informed that he will leave for India on Friday and is targeting to play in the match against Rajasthan Royals on April 25 in Jaipur. He was with the team at the start of the tournament but had returned to Australia for a follow-up scan. Had been dealing with back injury problem for a long time Cummins had suffered a stress injury in his lumbar spine in August. Due to this, he could play only one match since last July. In the Adelaide Test against England, he took 6 wickets and helped the team retain the Ashes. However, after that he remained out of the T-20 World Cup and the initial matches of IPL. Ishan Kishan is handling the reins In Cummins’ absence, Ishan Kishan is currently captaining Sunrisers Hyderabad. Head coach Daniel Vettori revealed that even though Cummins was not on the field, he remained connected with the team. According to Vettori, ‘Pat has been with the group and he has had extensive discussions with Ishan about his captaincy style, which is benefiting the team.’ Workload management of Australian bowlers The Australian team has to play at least 20 Test matches between August this year and next July, which includes major series against India and England.
