A new revelation has emerged in the case of the death of a 9-year-old innocent child in a bee attack in Agar-Malwa. After the incident, the child kept writhing in the school office for half an hour. He was taken to the hospital after about half an hour. The administration has also admitted that there was a delay in treating the child. A notice has also been issued to the school management. After the incident, Dainik Bhaskar spoke to eyewitness students and their relatives. It should be noted that on April 10, bees attacked during an exam at Swami Vivekananda School in Soyatkala. In this, Raman (9), son of Sajjan Singh Karada, died. He was studying in the fourth class in the school. Bees attacked while going to the classroom The father of a student studying at the school, on the condition of anonymity, said that exams from Nursery to 5th and 11th class were ongoing. The time was 9:45 AM. The reporting time was 9:15 AM. On Friday too, the children had reached school on time. The children were going to their classrooms for the exam. During this time, a large number of bees swarmed from a hive in the school. Children and staff started running here and there to save themselves. There was chaos. Raman got caught in the swarm of bees. He was made to sit in the school office for about 25 minutes. After this, he was taken to the Community Health Center. Seeing his critical condition, the doctors referred him to Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the exam also started at the scheduled time. At around 11:15 AM, news of Raman’s death came from Jhalawar, and then the exam was stopped. Waiting for the Principal to arrive Eyewitness students say that if Raman had been taken to the hospital on time, his life could have been saved. Instead of getting the child immediate treatment, the staff kept waiting for the principal to arrive, which caused a delay of about half an hour. Another student reported that to save himself, a staff member went and hid in the classroom. The school gate was also closed. One student wanted to go out to save the injured Raman, but he was also stopped. Despite this horrific situation, the examination was continued. Doctor said – He was stung in more than 8 places on his body Dr. Mukesh Jat of Soyatkala Community Health Center says that Raman had bee sting marks on eight places on his body. Apart from this, there were also several stings on his head. The child was brought to the hospital in critical condition at around 9:50 am. He was given anti-allergic injections. After that, he was referred to Jhalawar. Four to five such incidents have occurred There are beehives at several places in the school. According to the students, bees have attacked four to five times. A video has also surfaced. This is from the flag hoisting ceremony on August 15, 2025. In the video, students can be seen protecting themselves after the bee attack. Students are seen running towards the gate outside. The important thing is that despite this, no concrete steps were taken by the school. Notice to school management, investigation committee formed On the instructions of Additional Collector RP Verma, a show cause notice has been issued to the school principal. It states that despite having information about the beehives, they were not removed and security arrangements were not made. Also, there was no system in place to deal with emergency situations. The administration acknowledged that there was a delay in providing first aid to the injured student, which worsened the condition. This has been considered a violation of life safety standards. District Education Officer Mahesh Jatav says that a two-member investigation committee has been formed. The report has to be submitted in three days. A notice was also issued to the school operator asking for a response, which has not been received yet. Security guidelines have been issued for schools, anganwadi centers and public places in the district. Principal disconnected the call, Director did not receive it The school has been operating since 2002-2003. Currently, around 1100 children study here. After the incident, an attempt was made to contact the school’s Managing Director Aarti alias Kajal Jaiswal on her mobile number, but she did not receive the call. Meanwhile, school director Jitendra Sharma cut the call. It is also being reported that the management has prohibited staff from talking to the media.
