Illegal scrapping gang caught in Jabalpur, 2 arrested:Crime branch raid finds vehicles being dismantled for scrap

The Crime Branch and Adhartal police station in Jabalpur have taken joint action against a gang illegally scrapping vehicles. Police have arrested two accused and registered a case against them. Police received information that vehicles were being cut and scrapped without valid documents in a garage in the Khajri Khiriya area. Following this, the team raided the spot. During the operation, scrap was found loaded in a vehicle (DL-1 LR 9698). An Indica Vista car (MP 20 CC 7962) was found half-cut, with its engine removed. Scrap and vehicles seized, case registered Vehicles being dismantled without documents Garage owner Sheikh Arif (37) stated during interrogation that he had dismantled vehicles with numbers MP 20 CA 6862, MP 20 FA 6828, and MP 20 F 6243 to prepare scrap. When the police asked for valid documents and RTO permission, the accused could not present any papers.
