A protest by employees of a software company in Noida demanding salary increases turned violent on Monday morning. The employees had been protesting for 3 days. When their demands were not heard, the employees became aggressive in the morning. They took to the streets and started pelting stones. Several vehicles and buses were set on fire. When police tried to stop them, they overturned a police vehicle. As the situation worsened, forces from several police stations in the district reached the spot.
