Sand mafia run over forest constable with tractor in Morena:6 member team went to stop illegal transport; murder case registered

A six-member Forest Department team in Morena was attacked while attempting to take action against a tractor-trolley allegedly involved in illegal sand transportation. The assault resulted in the death of Constable Harkesh Gurjar. According to officials, the accused ran over Constable Gurjar with a tractor during the confrontation. He died on the spot due to the impact, highlighting the brutality of the attack. Incident near Ranpur village The incident took place near the crossroads of Ranpur village in the Dimani police station area at approximately 6:00 AM on Wednesday. The team had reached the location to intercept the illegal sand transport when the attack occurred. Senior officials reach the spot Collector Lokesh Kumar Jangid, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh, and Divisional Forest Officer Harishchandra Baghel have reached the scene to assess the situation. Police have registered a case of murder against unidentified accused persons. The body of the deceased constable has been sent to Morena District Hospital for post-mortem examination.
