A strong system of hailstorms, rain, and thunderstorms is active in MP. On Saturday, hailstones fell in 8 to 10 districts, including Betul, Sheopur, and Morena. This created a Kashmir-like scene. Strong winds and rain also occurred in more than 20 districts. Similar weather will prevail on Sunday as well. IMD (Meteorological Centre) has issued an alert for thunderstorms and rain in 27 districts, including Gwalior. The districts where the weather will change during the next 24 hours include Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Niwari, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Maihar, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Chhindwara, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Burhanpur, and Pandhurna. Here, the weather may change in the afternoon. Thunderstorms with a speed of 30 to 60 kilometres per hour are also expected. Rainfall in many districts since morning On Saturday, cyclonic circulation activity was observed in the state. The spell of rain started in many districts from the morning. The weather changed further in the afternoon. So much hail fell in Betul, Sheopur, Morena that the roads were covered as if with a white sheet. The weather changed in Bhopal at night. There was also a spell of rain in 20 districts, including Sehore, Vidisha, Ratlam, Raisen. Strong storms occurred in some places. Storm will blow at 50 to 60 Km/hour According to the Meteorological Department, a strong storm will also blow in the state for the next four days, i.e., till April 8. In some districts, its maximum speed will be up to 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. In the rest, the storm will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. Currently, system activity is being observed in the state. Meanwhile, a Western Disturbance will also become active from April 7. Due to this, there might be storms in some places and rain in others until April 10-11. After this, the system will move forward, and the heat wave will begin. Intense heat will be experienced in the second week. In the last week of April, the maximum temperature in Gwalior, Dhar, Khargone, Barwani, and Naogaon-Khajuraho could reach 44 to 45 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, there will be an increase in Datia, Morena, Sheopur, Barwani, Khargone, Dhar. In fact, hot winds also blow in the southern and western parts of the state during April. Due to this, severe heat is experienced here.
