The portal for new LPG gas connections in Indore has been closed for one month, and according to Mohanlal Maru of the Food Supply Department, both e-KYC and new connection processes will remain suspended. Meanwhile, a commotion broke out on Friday at Priyanka Gas Agency in Bhopal, where many customers who had booked cylinders 4–5 days earlier were told their cylinders were already delivered, though they had not received them at home. Enraged customers created a ruckus, saying the delay was causing difficulties. Some others were informed that cylinders were shown as delivered in their name and were asked to re-book only after the 25-day waiting period.
