According to police, Ramesh, a labourer, had returned home drunk that night. As his son tried to leave the house, Ramesh stopped him and asked where he was going. This led to an argument, during which Ramesh reportedly said, “Will you hit me?” The boy then stabbed him in the chest. Neighbours said the father and son frequently argued. Police added that Ramesh had remarried just two months ago. Family took him to district hospital by bike Ramesh Kol’s wife had died a few months ago. He had remarried in January. The wife says, ‘I was in the room, and both were fighting outside. It didn’t seem like the son would kill his father in the dispute.
