Man assaults wife, friend and abducts them in Dewas:Two arrested in Indore, car seized; 3rd suspect still on the run

A young man assaulted his wife and her friend, then forcibly put them into a car and abducted them, triggering panic in the area in Dewas. Police traced the accused within hours and arrested them from Indore. A video of the incident has also surfaced. The incident occurred on Monday night in the Kotwali police station area, where the accused Ravi, the woman’s former husband, was waiting with an accomplice. An eyewitness present there immediately informed the police about this incident that two young men were forcibly putting a woman and a young man in a car and taking them away. Upon receiving the information, Kotwali police station formed a team. Late at night, the police traced and arrested the accused from the MIG police station area in Indore. The Maruti car used in the kidnapping has also been seized. Two arrested, search on for third Kotwali Station In-charge Shyamchandra Sharma said that the victim woman is originally from Indore. She was living separately from her husband Ravi due to disputes, and these days was staying with her friend Chirayu Pathak (resident of Bhaurasa). On the day of the incident, she had gone to watch a movie with Chirayu Pathak. Police have registered a case against the accused under various sections, including assault, kidnapping, and death threats. So far, two accused have been arrested, while the search for another accused is ongoing.
