A 16-year-old student, Ayushi Patel, died during treatment at a private clinic in the Bistan area of Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh. Following the incident, her family has accused the doctor of negligence and improper treatment. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. According to her father, Gajraj Patel, Ayushi had been suffering from a cold and cough on Sunday afternoon. She was taken to a private clinic in Bistan, where Dr PC Gupta administered saline. The doctor then administered an injection, after which her condition deteriorated rapidly. Within minutes, she lost consciousness. As her condition turned critical, the doctor allegedly left the clinic. The family was advised to take her to Khargone for further treatment. They rushed her to a private hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Police register case, probe underway Based on a complaint filed by her father, a case has been registered against the doctor at Bistan police station. Head Constable Satish Singh Kushwaha confirmed that an investigation is underway, and further action will depend on statements from the family and the post-mortem report. On the day of her death, she had accompanied her father to the clinic, where he had gone seeking treatment for a foot-related issue.
