In Florida, US, a person sold his house for about 1 million dollars (approximately ₹9.5 crore) using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Robert Levin, who lives in Miami, didn’t take help from any real estate agent to sell his house, but instead made ChatGPT his guide. Levin closed the deal on his house within just 5 days. The interesting part is that Levin received ₹95 lakh more than what local agents had quoted, thanks to AI’s advice. AI handled everything from marketing to paperwork According to the New York Times report, Robert Levin wanted to test if AI could handle the entire house-selling process alone. He used ChatGPT for determining the right house price, preparing listings and writing marketing content. Levin said that he relied on the tool for every small and big decision. AI advised – When to list the house and what changes to make ChatGPT not only wrote content for Levin but also told him the best time to launch the house in the market so that buyers would be immediately attracted. The tool also advised him to make some minor improvements to the house, which helped increase the property’s value. According to Levin, we did exactly what the tool suggested. 5 offers received in 3 days, got ₹95 lakh more than agents’ estimates Within just three days of listing the house in the market, Levin received offers from 5 buyers. He sold the house for 1 million dollars. This price was 95 lakh rupees more than the estimates given by real estate agents. Saved millions in commission, but considered professional advice necessary Levin said that by using AI, he saved the commission that would have been paid to an agent. However, being cautious, he did take help from a lawyer for the paperwork. Levin believes that AI cannot completely replace professionals, but it makes work much easier and more cost-effective.
