Miscreants attacked a father and daughter with a sword in Bhopal. The youths struck the 6-year-old girl on the head, causing a deep wound. The girl’s condition is serious. The incident was captured on CCTV camera. The case is from the Shahjahanabad area. According to information, the injured girl, Miral Ahmed (6), daughter of Faizan Ahmed, resides in Indra Vihar Colony, Airport Road. She is a kindergarten student in a private school, while her father works in the post office. 70-80 people were arguing among themselves According to Father Faizan, his wife had come to her maternal home in Noor Mahal, Shahjahanabad, with the children. Late Wednesday night, they were returning home on a bike with his wife and both children. During this, near Shabd Printing Press, 70-80 people were already arguing among themselves. As the street was narrow, Faizan tried to turn the vehicle, when the argument escalated, and a fight broke out. During this, a blow from a sharp weapon struck his daughter’s head, causing her a deep injury. Treated at a private hospital After the incident, Faizan somehow managed to take the girl to the main road and got her treated at a nearby private hospital. Upon receiving information from the hospital, the police arrived at the scene and registered an FIR under sections of assault. Faizan stated that he does not know the accused but can identify them if they come forward. He believes that the attackers might be outsiders and had come to target a local youth. During this time, the miscreants also vandalised 2-3 vehicles. All the accused were armed with sticks and swords. After the incident, they fled the scene. CCTV footage has been handed over to the police. Two teams deployed to apprehend the accused According to Shahjahanabad ACP Anil Bajpai, the girl has a serious head injury, but the medical report has not confirmed an injury from a sharp weapon. It is possible that the injury was caused by a fall. Police have registered a case against an unknown accused, deployed two teams for investigation, and claimed early arrests.
