In Bhopal, late Sunday night, cattle remains were found in a white sack outside the Kali Temple near Talaiya Police Station. The incident sparked protests by workers of the Jai Maa Bhavani Hindu organization. Claiming the remains were of a cow, they blocked the road in protest and staged a sit-in, demanding the arrest of the culprits. Upon receiving information, a strong police force along with senior officials reached the scene. They assured the protesters that the accused would be identified and arrested promptly. After about one and a half hours, the demonstrators cleared the road. Police have filed an FIR against unknown persons following a complaint by Bhanu Hindu. Additional DCP Assures Investigation Chandrasekhar Tiwari, president of the Hindu Festival Committee, also visited the site. Additional DCP Shailendra Singh Chauhan assured that appropriate action would be taken after investigation. Tiwari described the incident as a plot to disrupt the city’s atmosphere during Navratri and raised concerns about late-night shops operating in the old city.
