Virat Kohli took to Instagram to dismiss fake news of him demanding an India-London chartered flight during IPL 2026. The India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star is gearing up for his 19th season and is among the four players who have featured in every IPL edition-MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Manish Pandey being the other three. RCB will start their IPL 2026 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first match of the season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Furthermore, the report stated that, “If there’s a gap of more than 3 days between matches, he plans to fly out to London and return just before the next game.” Kohli took to Instagram to share the story and used laughing emojis to literally laugh off the story. The star cricketer currently has 8,661 runs in 267 matches and is the highest run-scorer in the tournament’s history. Last year, Kohli had amassed 657 runs in 15 innings at an average of 54.75 and a strike rate of 144.71. The 37-year-old finished as RCB’s highest run-scorer in their title-winning campaign last year. Earlier, he fired up his RCB teammates with a motivational pep talk in their first training session. “We worked really hard over the last two to three seasons to achieve what we did last year, and it’s only going to get tougher because other teams are going to come hard at us,” he said.
