IPL team Delhi Capitals has appointed former Ireland all-rounder John Mooney as the team’s new fielding coach. According to reports, Mooney will soon come to India to join the team and participate in the preparations for the upcoming season. Mooney has replaced Anton Roux and Gyaneshwar Rao. The 44-year-old Mooney played more than 90 matches for Ireland in ODI and T20 formats. He played his last match in 2015. After that, from 2018 to 2019, he served as the fielding coach for the Afghanistan team, and then in 2019, Mooney also worked for the West Indies team for some time.
