India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill will be honoured with the Cricketer of the Year award. Meanwhile, former Team India player and head coach Rahul Dravid will be honoured with the Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. According to PTI, the BCCI Annual Awards program will be held in Delhi on March 15. Additionally, Ayush Mhatre will be honoured with the Lal Amarnath Award. Under Mhatre’s captaincy, India won the Under-19 ODI World Cup earlier this year. Moreover, besides Rahul Dravid, Mithali Raj will also be conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Furthermore, the Mumbai Association will be awarded the Best Cricket Association for its excellent performance in domestic cricket. However, no official statement has been released by the BCCI regarding this yet. Gill was the top scorer in all three formats last year Indian captain Gill’s performance was outstanding in 2025. During his tenure as coach, India performed well in ICC tournaments, with the team reaching the final of the ODI World Cup and also winning the T20 World Cup 2024. After retiring from cricket in 2012, Dravid took charge of the India Under-19 team and led the team, which included players like Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw, to the title in 2018. During this period, he also worked with the India A team.
