The list also states that the first match in Jaipur will be between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 31. On April 4, Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants will compete, on April 15, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, and on April 19, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet released the official schedule for IPL-2026 matches. Therefore, this list going viral on social media is completely fake and misleading. According to Rajiv Khanna, Vice President of Rajasthan Royals, BCCI will release the official schedule for IPL-2026 matches on March 12. He said – such information circulating on social media is merely a rumour. One should not trust them. Ongoing dispute over Jaipur hosting IPL matches For some time now, there has been a dispute regarding the hosting of IPL matches at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The state government also became active on this issue. A letter was written to the BCCI by the Chief Secretary, demanding that Jaipur be given the hosting rights for the matches. Following this, a team of BCCI officials arrived in Jaipur and also inspected the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Since the inspection, it is being hoped that Jaipur might get to host IPL matches this year as well. However, the final decision and official announcement regarding this are still pending.
