At the same time, Megha continued her college studies. During college, she met Ajay Yadav, a resident of Jaisinagar. Over time, Megha developed feelings for Ajay and started meeting him frequently. Later, Megha got a job in the post office and was posted at Ramgarh Post Office in Damoh district, where she began living. By then, she wanted to end her relationship with Vikas. She reduced contact with him and repeatedly told him that she did not want to continue the relationship. However, Vikas insisted on marrying her.
