Some were using lemon chilies to ward off evil eye while others were seen posting videos on social media of performing aarti by ringing the bells. A cricket fan named Tulip also shared a video on social media performing a ritual with lemon and chili to ward off evil eye near the Narendra Modi Stadium. He further said, “Currently taglines like ‘History Repeat, History Defeat’ are trending on social media. India is repeating history by reaching the final and there is hope that after winning, they will also defeat history”. ‘Jasprit Bumrah could prove to be a trump card for the team in bowling’ Making his prediction about the match, Tulip said, “This time Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya could play important roles in batting.
