Team India arrive in Ahmedabad, to stay at Taj Hotel:Hardik Pandya spotted with girlfriend Mahika, final against New Zealand on 8 March

After defeating England cricket team, the India national cricket team arrived at Ahmedabad Airport ahead of the T20 World Cup final. India secured their place in the summit clash after registering a seven-run victory in the second semi-final on Thursday (5 March). With this win, India have reached the T20 World Cup final for the fourth time. The team had previously made the final in 2007, 2014 and 2024. All members of the Indian squad were seen arriving at the airport. All-rounder Hardik Pandya was particularly noticed as he arrived with his girlfriend, Mahika. From the airport, the Indian team headed to the city’s Taj Hotel Ahmedabad, where they will stay ahead of the title clash. India–New Zealand final on 8 March The T20 World Cup final between India and the New Zealand national cricket team will be played on 8 March (Sunday) at the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium. The highly anticipated clash will see India aiming to lift another T20 world title, while New Zealand will look to claim the trophy after an impressive campaign in the tournament. New Zealand team arrived on 5 March The New Zealand squad, which qualified for the final after defeating the South Africa national cricket team in the semi-final, arrived at Ahmedabad Airport at around 3 pm on 5 March 2026. From the airport, the team travelled directly to the ITC Narmada, where they were formally welcomed. Following their arrival, strict security arrangements have been put in place around the hotel to ensure the safety of the players and team staff ahead of the final.
