shivraj-to-launch-‘mama-coaching’-classes:to-take-5-resolutions-on-march-5-birthday,-offering-free-coaching-support-to-students

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will mark his birthday on March 5 by announcing five major public welfare pledges focused on environment, service, assistance, education, and talent promotion. The initiatives, collectively described as his “Panch Sankalp”, will be rolled out across his parliamentary constituency and ministerial domains. No garlands or bouquets, only saplings Chouhan has introduced a new practice in the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development: replacing bouquets, shawls, and mementoes at official events with saplings. He has appealed to party workers and government officials to avoid presenting garlands or gifts during public programs and instead plant a tree and share its photograph as a token of welcome. Promoting environmental conservation, he stressed the message: “Do not give gifts, do good deeds.” Those planting saplings can upload their photographs via a QR code on a designated portal and become registered as “Shiv Vriksh Mitra” (Friends of Trees). Mobile hospitals in Vidisha constituency Chouhan will launch mobile hospitals across all eight assembly segments of the Vidisha parliamentary constituency. These mobile medical units will be staffed with doctors and nursing personnel to provide healthcare services to underserved populations. The initiative will be funded through the MP Local Area Development Fund (MPLADS), with additional public cooperation sought for operations. Motorized tricycles for Divyang beneficiaries The minister has pledged to identify specially-abled individuals (Divyang) in his constituency and provide them with motorized tricycles. The initiative has already begun in Vidisha and will be expanded further. ‘Mama coaching’ for free competitive exam preparation A major highlight of the birthday initiatives is the launch of ‘Mama Coaching’, aimed at offering free coaching to economically weaker students. The coaching centers will be established in Vidisha, Raisen, and Bherunda (Sehore district). Students from the Vidisha parliamentary constituency will receive free preparation support for competitive examinations, including Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exams. The program will also offer online classes to ensure students unable to attend physically can benefit from home. The first batch will enroll 100 students each in Vidisha, Raisen, and Bherunda. Application forms will be available starting March 5. Felicitation of academic toppers Under another initiative titled “Prem Sundar Pratibha Samman,” Chouhan will honor the top three rank-holders (first, second, and third positions) in Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations from each of the eight assembly segments in his parliamentary constituency. Focus on grassroots welfare Through these five resolutions, Chouhan aims to combine environmental awareness, healthcare outreach, educational support, and social welfare into a coordinated public service campaign coinciding with his birthday.
