A speeding truck (RJ 11 GC 2456) rammed into a Nexon car on the Dabra–Gwalior highway. After the collision, the car got stuck in front of the truck. Instead of stopping, the driver dragged the car for nearly one and a half kilometres up to Defence Park. The incident took place between 6:30 pm and 7 pm on Saturday near a culvert at Bajhera village, outside the Tekanpur border. Three people were travelling in the Nexon car (MP07-ZG-9779). Surprisingly, despite the serious nature of the crash, all three escaped unharmed. A video of the entire incident surfaced on Sunday. Car occupants kept shouting, but truck did not stop After the accident, the people inside the car kept shouting for help. Eyewitness Sebu Gurjar said he chased the truck on his Bullet motorcycle and kept shouting at the driver to stop, but he did not slow down. Some other passers-by also tried to stop the truck. After dragging the car for around one and a half kilometres, the driver left it by the roadside and tried to flee. See the entire incident in 3 pictures However, locals managed to stop the truck and thrashed the driver. It is reported that an SAF officer was travelling in the car. He is posted in a battalion and was returning from Orchha. So far, no case has been registered in the matter. Truck swerved before throwing car into ditch In the video, the car driver can be seen banging on the truck and pleading with the driver to stop. But the truck driver continued driving. Some passers-by recorded videos which clearly show the truck swerving repeatedly while dragging the car. Later, the driver steered towards a roadside ditch and flung the car into it. Atteri police station in-charge Geetesh Sharma said no one has yet come forward to file a complaint. He added that a case will be registered if a complaint is received. The truck has been stopped in the Bilaua area.
