Over 100 MP residents stranded in Dubai amid Israel–Iran war:Indore politicians, builders among those stuck; Air India cancels flights

The escalating tension between Israel and Iran in the Middle East and airspace restrictions imposed by several countries have directly impacted passengers from Madhya Pradesh. Air India Express flight IX-256, coming from Sharjah to Indore, has been cancelled. Due to the flight cancellation, more than 100 passengers from Madhya Pradesh are stranded at Dubai and Sharjah airports. According to information, the flight scheduled to depart from Sharjah to Indore at 12:20 PM (UAE time) was cancelled at the last minute. Passengers received this information after reaching the airport. Many passengers had already arrived in Dubai, with connecting flights from Sharjah to Indore. They are also stranded there. According to information, many people from Indore had gone to Dubai to attend a wedding ceremony. These include former MLA Sanjay Shukla, Vishal Patel, Praveen Kakkar, Manish Sahara of Sahara Group, Sanjay Agarwal of Agarwal Group, Pintoo Chhabra of C-21 Mall, Golu Patni, and many others. It is reported that when they reached Dubai Airport to come to Indore, they found out that the flight had been cancelled. Because of this, they had to stay in Dubai.
