Tracking weak global cues, the share markets in India opened under pressure on Friday, 27 February, 2026. Sensex 30 fell over 300 points and dipped below the 82,000-mark. Similarly, Nifty 50 lost nearly 90 points at opening. On the sectoral front, barring IT, media, consumer durables and another, all remaining indices traded with losses. Nifty Chemicals was the worst performer, falling by 1.07%.
