Woman beaten to death, 14-year-old daughter raped in Dindori:Minor spends night crying beside mother’s body; live-in partner his brother named in FIR

In Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh, a woman was beaten to death by her live-in partner’s younger brother. Meanwhile, her 14-year-old daughter was raped by her partner while he was intoxicated. He fled after the incident. The girl kept crying sitting near her mother’s dead body. The case is from Shahpura police station area. According to information, the deceased woman was about 35 years old. The accused who killed the woman is named Chhotu Chaudhary (40), while the woman’s live-in partner who raped the girl is named Hariom Chaudhary. Neighbours called the police
Local residents say the mother and daughter do not come out of the house around 10 AM, raising suspicion, and police are informed. On reaching the spot and opening the door, officers find the woman dead in a blood-soaked condition inside, while her minor daughter sits nearby in a frightened state. Police immediately admit the girl to Shahpura Community Health Center, where she is declared out of danger.
