The body of a Madhya Pradesh student preparing for the NEET exam in Kota, Rajasthan, was found in a canal six days after he went missing. The body, which drifted nearly 50 km from Kota to the Anta region, was discovered stuck in a tree in the right main canal and recovered by the Anta police team. The deceased is identified as 23-year-old Lokesh Dangi from Bhadahedi village in Rajgarh district. After the post-mortem, the body is handed over to the family, who leave for Madhya Pradesh with it. According to Anta police, around 12:30 PM on Monday, people staying in tents went to collect wood near the railway bridge beside the NDPC factory when they spotted a body stuck in an acacia tree in the right main canal. The family reached Anta around 4 PM. The police showed the body at the hospital. The body was wearing a red T-shirt and black lowers. Based on the clothes and physical build, the family identified him as Lokesh Dangi. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem around 5 PM. According to the police, the body was disfigured due to being in water for a long time. Currently, a case of unnatural death has been registered and the matter is being investigated.
