A father sitting in front of his young son at a bus stand in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh died after suffering a silent heart attack. He had been leaning against a pole while waiting to change buses when he suddenly collapsed. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Dawar (35), a resident of Alirajpur. He was travelling from Sendhwa to Alirajpur with his five- to six-year-old son. They were seated at Barwani bus stand to change buses when he suffered the fatal attack. Eyewitnesses initially thought he had fainted According to eyewitnesses, Dawar’s health deteriorated suddenly and he fell to the ground. People nearby initially assumed that he had fainted. However, when he did not regain consciousness, panic spread among passengers at the bus stand. His young son continued trying to rouse him, unaware of what had happened. Child repeatedly tried to wake his father During the incident, the child, identified as Kishu, sat beside his father and repeatedly attempted to wake him. He had no idea that his father had already died. The sight left many people present at the bus stand deeply moved. See these 3 pictures- CPR attempted, but he could not be revived Dinesh Yadav and Ballu Pehlwan, residents of Borlay, informed social worker Ajit Jain about the situation. Upon receiving the information, Jain reached the spot, and the police also arrived shortly afterwards. Soldiers present at the location immediately attempted to revive Dawar by administering CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), but their efforts were unsuccessful. He was then taken to Barwani District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Doctor confirms suspected silent attack Dr Digvijay Singh Nargave stated that, according to the preliminary examination, Dawar’s death appeared to have been caused by a silent heart attack. He added that the exact cause of death would only be confirmed after the post-mortem report. Barwani police said the deceased was identified through the words ‘Tiger Group Sendhwa’ printed on his shirt and the name ‘Rakesh’ inscribed on his hand. His family was informed through the Sendhwa Manav Seva Samiti. Some of his relatives reside in Sendhwa and left for Barwani after receiving the news.
