Two shocking suicide cases came to light in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. In the Udaipura town of Raisen district, a young woman died by hanging herself. Around the same time, nearly 350 kilometres away in the Pawasa police station area of Ujjain district, a young man also ended his life in the same way. At first, the two incidents appeared to be separate and unrelated. No one imagined there could be any link between them. However, on Sunday, it was revealed that the two were in a relationship. Police found that they had spoken to each other on the phone just before taking the extreme step. Affair revealed after scrutinising call details Udaipura police station in-charge Jaywant Singh Kakodia said that Sakshi Dhakad (23) was living at her maternal grandfather’s house in Chilli village. She committed suicide there at 6 AM. Meanwhile, the young man Rishabh Meena (26) first cut the veins of his hand and throat, then applied current. When that failed, he hung himself by tying a noose to the railing outside the room. When the police checked the mobile call details, an affair between the two was confirmed. The two had talked the night before According to Pawasa police, Rishabh made his last call to Sakshi before committing suicide. The two had also chatted on Friday night. Rishabh’s mobile was found in flight mode and it also contained pictures of both of them. Meanwhile, Sakshi’s mobile is locked, which is being investigated. Pawasa police station in-charge Gamar Mandloi said that Rishabh had attempted suicide multiple times before hanging himself. He first tried to cut the veins of his hand and slit his throat with a knife, but failed.
