This saw a TVR (Television Rating) growth of 71% to become the highest-rated India-Pakistan T20 clash since 2021. “The build-up to the India vs Pakistan game at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and the match itself had all the ingredients of a spectacle. The record-breaking reach and consumption reflect the scale at which fans all over engage with this tournament across platforms,” Anup Govindan, JioStar’s Head of Sales, Sports, said. On mobile, this match became the most-watched encounter of the league stage. A 56% increase in digital reach was recorded compared to the 2024 India-Pakistan match, while viewership on Connected TV (CTV) was 2.4 times higher. 20 billion minutes of watch time recorded across all platforms A total watch time of 20 billion minutes was recorded across all platforms, which is 42% more than the previous edition. On linear TV too, this became the highest-rated India-Pakistan T20 match since 2021, with a 71% increase in TVR. India, Pakistan have reached Super 8 stage Both India and Pakistan have made it to the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup, which starts on 21 February. India are placed in Group 1, alongside Zimbabwe, South Africa and West Indies, all of whom are unbeaten. Pakistan on the other hand, are placed in Group 2 are clubbed with New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka.
