ishan-kishan-to-marry-jaipur-model-soon:grandfather-confirms-wedding-with-aditi-hundia-likely-by-the-end-of-2026-or-in-2027

When India wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan received a heartfelt request from his grandfather, Ram Anugrah Pandey saying ‘I want to see my daughter-in-law’s face before I die’, he revealed his relationship with Jaipur-based model Aditi Hundia to the family for the first time. Speaking about how the relationship began and progressed towards marriage, his grandfather confirmed that the couple plans to marry within a year. According to family discussions, the wedding may take place by the end of this year or in 2027, depending on Kishan’s cricket schedule. It was after his grandfather’s emotional appeal that Kishan informed the family about Aditi and said he was considering marriage in 2026–27. Family knew her from television When asked whether Kishan had personally introduced Aditi, his grandfather said that Kishan reminded them they had already seen her with him several times on television. He clarified that he did not wish to keep anything secret and that the family likely already had an idea about their relationship. The family knows that Aditi is from Jaipur and works as a professional model. They have seen her photographs and consider her educated and self-reliant. There is no objection from the family regarding her profession or hometown. Kishan had made it clear that he would not go against the family’s wishes, and the matter was openly discussed at home without opposition. How did the relationship began ? Although his grandfather does not know all the details, he recalls that during the 2019 IPL season, Aditi was frequently spotted in the stands at matches, which first sparked discussion. At the time, Kishan avoided answering questions about her. Later, photographs and videos of the two began circulating on social media. In 2025, his grandfather pressed him directly about marriage, leading to a clearer acknowledgement of the relationship. Aditi has attended several of Kishan’s matches. On 18 July last year, during India’s tour of the West Indies, she reportedly travelled there quietly to celebrate his birthday. She was also present at a match in Delhi, which attracted significant public attention. The family then realised the relationship was serious. No concern over intercaste marriage Addressing questions about caste differences, his grandfather stated there is no issue. Aditi does not belong to their caste, but the family believes children’s happiness and mutual understanding are more important. He noted that his elder grandson has also had an intercaste marriage. The wedding date has not yet been finalised. However, the main ceremony is likely to be held in Jaipur, given Aditi’s roots there, with a reception possibly in Patna or the family’s village. Kishan has jokingly said the wedding procession would travel by flight, indicating that the event would be organised on a grand scale. Who is Aditi Hundia? Jaipur-born Aditi Hundia has built a growing presence in the fashion and beauty industry in recent years. She completed her early education in Jaipur and developed an interest in modelling during college. Her father is a businessman based in Jaipur. Aditi won the Miss Diva title in 2018, which established her identity in the modelling world. She has also been a finalist at Femina Miss India and competed at national beauty pageants. She maintains an active presence on social media and has built strong fashion credentials.
Family’s reaction to India–Pakistan match Speaking about the India–Pakistan T20 World Cup clash, Kishan’s grandfather revealed he had spoken to him two days before the game. With humour, he told him: ‘Defeat Pakistan so convincingly that countless televisions break there. You and Abhishek Sharma should score 100–150 runs in 10 overs.’ He added that he always wishes for Kishan’s strong performance whenever he steps onto the field. Before Kishan left for Colombo on the 13th, he encouraged him by saying he should return only after defeating Pakistan. Kishan’s mother, Suchitra Singh, expressed happiness over Team India’s victory and congratulated the players. She said she was pleased with her son’s performance and hoped the team would continue winning. His father, Pranav Kumar Pandey, said the family felt proud of India’s success. He emphasised that Kishan had worked extremely hard over the past two years, playing domestic cricket consistently and focusing on improving his batting. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan remarked that Kishan had surprised Pakistan, while ex-Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said Kishan ‘did wonders’.
