A stampede broke out during a Kalash Yatra in Dabra, Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to four others, including a young girl. The seriously injured women were referred to Gwalior for treatment. The incident occurred on the first day of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Navgrah Shaktipeeth. According to reports, the stampede took place when large numbers of women were being handed Kalash (sacred pots) at the stadium ground. As the crowd surged to collect the Kalash, disorder ensued, leading to the tragic stampede.
