The roof of the Mata temple collapsed in Ahrauli village of Morena district. 3 girls died after being buried under the debris. 3 other girls and a couple were injured. The accident occurred on Sunday around 2 PM, while breaking the old roof for dome construction in the temple. Satish Gaud, who lives in the village, had come to offer prasad at the temple with his wife, Prithvi. He had also called some girls inside the temple to distribute prasad. During this time, the old roof slab fell, and the girls sitting below got buried under the debris.
