A woman has been murdered in the Pipariya buffer zone of Satpura Tiger Reserve in Narmadapuram district. Her head was brutally crushed. The head was covered with a cloth, while the body from the waist down was found uncovered. Rape is suspected. The case falls under the Station Road police station area. According to information, the deceased woman’s age is said to be 30-35 years. A forest worker informed the Pipariya Station Road police. Station in charge Aditya Sen reached the spot with his team. Aditya Sen, in-charge of Pipariya Station Road Police Station, said, On Saturday afternoon, Forest Guard Barelal Kuchre was on patrol in the Pipariya buffer zone of Satpura Tiger Reserve. During the patrol, he noticed a strong foul smell coming from the forest near Dokrikheda Dam.During this, the forest guard became suspicious. He reached about 150 meters inside the forest edge from the road. He found the body of a woman in a semi-naked condition. Forest Guard Barelal Kuchre informed the Pipariya Station Road Police about this. The body appeared to be about two days old. Injury marks were found on the head and face. Post-mortem to be done tomorrow
Narmadapuram SP Sai Krishna Thota informed that the deceased woman was wearing blue bangles, pink sandals, a pink-white saree, a black jacket, and socks. The body has been sent to Pipariya for post-mortem, which will be conducted on Sunday. After the post-mortem report, the cause of death and other aspects will become clear. The SP said that information has been sent to all nearby police stations for the identification of the woman. Instructions have been given to immediately provide information if it matches any missing woman’s report. The police are investigating the entire matter from all angles.
