BJP leader assaults youth, forcibly takes him away:Victim was filming a pond in Chhatarpur; video of beating goes viral

In Chhatarpur, a BJP leader along with his associates allegedly assaulted a young man, threatened to implicate him in a false case, and then forcibly pushed him into a car and took him away. A video of the incident has surfaced, in which the leader is identified as Ashish Raikwar, the district coordinator of the BJP’s Fishermen Cell. In the video, he is seen claiming to be an influential BJP leader and referring to his alleged influence over the police. The exact date of the incident is yet to be confirmed. Kishangarh SDOP Ajay Kumar Rithauria said the police have received information about the matter, but no formal complaint has been filed so far. ‘We are taking necessary action. Whoever the accused is, they will not be spared,’ he said. According to sources, the victim has been identified as Achchu Ahirwar. He was reportedly making a video of Pathar Talab near Bijawar when the dispute began. The argument soon escalated, leading to the alleged physical assault.
