Uttar Pradesh gets big boost in 2026 Union Budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces several projects and investments for the state. Varanasi will get a ship repair port. Seven high-speed railway corridors will pass through Uttar Pradesh. Small pilgrimage sites across the state will also be developed. The state will receive 10,000 crore for container manufacturing. The Centre has launched Semiconductor 2.0, and a semiconductor park is coming up in Noida. In education, one girls’ hostel will be built in each of the state’s 75 districts.
