Captain Salman Ali Agha’s quickfire 76 helped Pakistan post a formidable 198/5 against Australia in the second T20I of the three-match series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 31 January. Pakistan had won the first match by 22 runs. However, it was another flop show from Babar Azam (2 off 5 balls), who continued to struggle in the shortest format. For Australia, Adam Zampa, Xavier Bartlett, Matthew Kuhnemann, Cooper Connolly and Sean Abbott took one wicket each. Salman Ali Agha leads Pakistan’s batting effort Choosing to bat first, it was the Pakistan captain who led his team’s spectacular effort. Agha’s 76-run knock came off just 40 deliveries and it included eight fours and four sixes. Usman Khan also hit a half-century (53 off 36 balls) and he hit four fours and two sixes in his knock. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh was back in action after missing the series opener.
