In a shocking incident at a gun shop in Chandni Chowk, Ratlam, shop owner Yusuf Ali (58) succumbs to injuries sustained in a blast. After receiving initial treatment in Ratlam, he was referred to Indore, where he passed away late Tuesday night. Reports suggest he suffered a heart attack during treatment. The shop owner had escaped from the shop in a burnt condition, running to save his life. Explosion occurred during welding The blast reportedly took place at 4 pm on January 26 at the gun shop in Chandni Chowk. Hearing the explosion, people inside the shop rushed out to save themselves. Four individuals were badly burned and ran on the road in burning condition. People sitting in nearby shops also fled. Passersby in a Magic vehicle got down and escaped the scene. Injured in the incident are arms shop owner Yusuf Ali (58), Najim (32), Sheikh Rafiquddin (35), and customer Sandeep, son of Shankar Patidar (35). Yusuf Ali has died, while the other three are undergoing treatment in Indore. Forensic team will investigate by opening the shop The shop is scheduled to open today for a detailed investigation. After the blast, the administration had sealed the shop. On Wednesday, police along with a forensic team will remove the seal and conduct a thorough investigation. Some videos of the accident had also emerged, showing burned people running out of the shop after the explosion. First video- The footage shows people moving along the road. A young man is seen sitting on a bike outside the shop, holding a mobile. Ahead, two others are walking, one speaking on a mobile. A pickup arrives and stops near them, and the blast occurs at that moment. Second video- This video captures the shop owner and others running to save their lives. Burnt individuals were seen removing their clothes on the road due to the severity of the burns. Charred clothing and scattered shoes littered the street. Third Video- In this clip, injured customer Sandeep Patidar is seen sitting in an auto. After the blast, he first ran to a nearby paint shop and requested to make a phone call to his village to inform his family. After the accident, people made Sandeep sit in an auto. He was badly burnt, his clothes were in tatters. During this time, he asked the auto driver to make his video so he could see his face. The Ratlam gun shop blast, which occurred during welding, has claimed the life of the shop owner Yusuf Ali. Three others remain in critical condition. Forensic teams are set to examine the scene, while videos of the incident reveal the chaos and panic that followed the explosion.
