PM Narendra Modi said in Mann Ki Baat – The efforts of Jagdish Prasad Ahirwar from Panna district of Madhya Pradesh are also very commendable. He serves as a beat guard in the forest. Once during a patrol, he realized that information about many medicinal plants in the forest was not systematically recorded anywhere.
Found medicinal plants from the forest and created a record Prime Minister Modi said- Jagdish ji wanted to pass this information on to the next generation, so he started identifying medicinal plants and recording them. He identified more than 125 medicinal plants. He collected information about each plant’s picture, its name and use, and its location. The information he collected was compiled by the Forest Department and also published as a book. The information provided in this book is very useful for researchers, publishers, students, and forest officials. This same spirit of environmental conservation is visible on a large scale today.
The PM said that under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (One Tree in Mother’s Name) campaign, more than 200 crore trees have been planted in the country so far. He said that I salute all those young friends of mine who are associated with some startup or want to start a new startup. The PM further said that we all should have only one mantra: Quality, Quality, and Quality. Indian product should mean quality. We should resolve that there will be no compromise with quality. If a young person becomes a new voter, celebrate it like a birthday The PM said – Just as we celebrate birthdays, similarly, whenever a young person becomes a voter for the first time, the entire neighborhood, village or city should come together to congratulate them and distribute sweets. He said that this will increase awareness about voting and strengthen the feeling of how important it is to be a voter.
